DIY – Unicorn Bookmark

Yellooow,

It’s no secret, Unicorns rule!

As my young daughter loves them, we try to find ways to include them, crafting around and such.

This is one of the many MANYYY ideas we came up with.

(Of course, as always, Pinterest is a huge boat of inspirations).

We wanted to create a bookmark, a unicorn one.

Allright, let’s first step’ this one :

Choose the height of your unicorn. I decided to go with a A5 type of format.

Draw a sketch, then back on a thick piece of paper (with glitter it’s better:)).

Then, with a punch machine make some holes for the cords, or lace, or…

Then bread the cords, or strings… or not.. I wanted a kinda of rainbow vibe so I went with different colored strings.

Then let’s decorate on the back.

My daughter wanted to drawn lines, in the same string’s colors, so it’s pretty, she said πŸ™‚

We sent this one to my sister, as a thank you letter πŸ™‚

Later on, I wanted to make a printed version.

Here it is :

Unicorn Bookmark
And one more Unicorn living in our house πŸ™‚

If you want this (free) version to print at home, send me an email πŸ™‚

Put some glitter in your life

Cheers,

MC
