Yellooow,
A few weeks ago I was coming back from Umhlanga (SA), and in the car, on the bumpy roads, I sketched this:

It stayed on my desk, I looked at it a lot, didn’t know what to do with it. Then I decided to draw it nice and tight.
So there you go; one of my many artistic version of South Africa, there are so many images in my head, it’s hard to choose.
This country is so beautiful and so rich, … and so poor in the same time. It’s confusing.
It’s such a young nation, growing fast and learning as it comes.
I love being here; I love the colors, the sun, the people, the many (so many) different cultures, the 11 national languages (Say Whaaaat!), the music, the uplifting energy.
Not a day passes by without something on my path that takes my breath away.
For example, this morning, I’m surrounded by wonderful flowers smell, and I see this super deep purple flower, that is actually a ‘bad weed’ spreading on the wall. I hear a profound and lovely sound from a bird in a tree nearby, a sound that I have never heard before. It’s not 8 am that I’m already filled with warmth and happiness.
Aaaaah
Have a great day,
Spread the love
Cheers ,
MC
